Evil, Capitalistic, Bigoted America Comes to Haiti’s Assistance

Thursday morning I was watching Fox & Friends to see what was going down in the aftermath of the apocalyptic earthquake that rocked Haiti. As I sat there in my shorts drinking my coffee, I was gobsmacked as I viewed the insane carnage inflicted by the 7.0 death-dealer that crushed that little nation seven hundred miles from my Miami bunker.

As the horrendous before and after satellite images of a city flattened by mother nature rolled, I became prouder and prouder of how the U.S., our magnificent military, and a stack of high-quality Christian organizations are flying into high gear with millions of dollars and thousands of people to sacrificially help—as in risk their lives—to do whatever they can to assist during such unimaginable suffering.

Basking in the warm glow of the American spirit in such a tragic event, I started getting kinda, sorta ticked off regarding how the Lefties repeatedly pitch our nation as an evil, bigoted, greedy, capitalistic, militarily-oppressive regime that loves to squish the underdogs.

 Y’know, in reality—as in a blistering, natural disaster reality—one always finds that it is America that rocks the hardest in regard to real relief. We blow away other nations. Yep, whether it is a tsunami or an earthquake, you can count on evil, mean, nasty, bigoted, murderous, Christian American men and women to be the first responders to offer no-BS help in time of need.

It’ll be interesting to see how many (and at what level) Muslim organizations and nations, atheist organizations, Code Pink, PETA punks, Chavez and Castro, GLSEN, euro-socialist dillweeds, Green Peace, and Avatar’s woodsy blue people pony up and help the Haitians through their hellish nightmare. I wonder if they’ll even come close to our American Judeo-Christian largesse?

It’s also really interesting to me how mean, white America runs to relieve a city that’s 99.9% black without blinking. At least we’re not going around like Reid, Biden and Byrd and calling them “clean Negroes” who can turn their black slang on and off.

This just in! A buddy of mine Facebooked me a moment ago about how a couple of his evil Christian friends just got back from a 10-day missions trip to Haiti and are trying to head back. He continued to say that it is, no doubt, just a show they're putting on to advance the conservative agenda and subvert the Religion of Peace.

In addition, my co-host on ClashRadio.com, Steve Pauwels sent me this note on Friday regarding his Marine son Sam saying, “We seek your prayers for our middle son, Sam, who is now awaiting his newest deployment down to Haiti … When I asked Sam how he was doing one hour ago, he said: "Fine. We just want to go." (Note; he and his unit have been back in the states for ONE MONTH after being overseas for six months).” Ah, our evil wicked soldiers, eh Lefties?

You know, at the end of the day, countries and people who need true aid and who long for authentic liberty always look to the massive helping hands of the Judeo-Christian rooted, God blessed American men, women and military—and not to secularists, atheists, Islamists and grimy hippies who regularly blather about how bad America is.

Giants are in the land; giants that are thundering threats into the ears of all men. Can you hear them roar? Do you feel their taunting down deep inside?

 Long ago, in a land far away, two armies were set in battle array on the crests of opposing hills. The valley below was what we might call today, "NO MAN’S LAND." To enter into that battle meant certain death or enslavement. The armies of either side would hold no quarter, show no mercy, for they were the bitterest of enemies.
 
 Picture yourself on that battle line because each of us are represented there. On one side of the valley were the people of God, the armies of Israel, led by King Saul. On the other side of that valley was the army of the Philistines and they had invaded the land looking for blood. There could be no peace. There could be no compromise. It was either win or die!
 
 Out into the valley stepped a giant of a man. Now you would have thought that since Saul was king of Israel and he was so much taller than every one else, that this giant might have been him. It should have been King Saul stepping out in faith, knowing that the God of Israel was going to fight his battle for him. But that was not the case.
Instead, it was the giant of the Philistines named Goliath. This ungodly, idol worshiping man of the world stepped forward and defied the army of Israel. He wasn’t just defying Saul and his soldiers; he was challenging their faith in their God and he was challenging the very God of Israel. "Is there one among you who would dare to fight? Let him step forward and you an watch him die," he taunted.

 On that day Saul stayed hidden in his tent; hidden behind guards who were just as afraid as he was. Who could blame them? When you look at what was happening through the eyes of the flesh, the situation seemed hopeless. Goliath was over eight feet tall and looked like he was wearing a Toyota for armor, and carried a spear the size of a 4 x 8 fence post with a tip on it that looked like a missile warhead. His shield bearer was the next biggest man in the army and the shield resembled a small plateau. This was not the kind of man that you would want to get into a one-on-one fight with; in fact, you probably wouldn’t want to do so if you outnumbered him ten to one.

 Every day that you live you are going to face some giants in your life. They may seem like giants of sickness; giants of loneliness; giants of pain; giants of despair; giants of financial need; giants of doubt, fear and frustration.
Just as Goliath appeared so much bigger, the closer you got to him; so do all of the problems that you face. If you could see that problem coming then you could have made plans to escape it, but that’s not the way it happens.

 You are just cruising along, enjoying life when suddenly, there, square in the middle of the path that you must trod, stands a giant, or a mountain; something that seems so insurmountable.
I talk to people all the time about some of the giants that they face. I don’t care how much faith you have, there will likely come a time when your faith will waver. You can rest assured that its going to be tested to the limit. That’s the only way that you can tell whether your faith is real or not.
Sometimes, though we try to force faith to arise in our hearts, the giant seems so huge that we begin to develop a "spiritual dwarf mentality." It’s not easy living in a world of giants if you have a dwarf mentality.

 We can speak of faith, but where’s faith when the giant is there? Sometimes the problems we face are so huge that they obscure our vision of Christ. I’ve been there. I’ve seen times when the giants came flooding into my life. I felt the cold grip of doubt and wondered if this would be the end. None of us are immune to the attacks of the enemy. He’s always hanging nearby, just waiting for an opportune moment to rise up against you.

 Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 17:20, "(you could not cast out that devil), because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

 We like to claim to have faith that is much more than that, but there are times when faith seems so small that you couldn’t fill that mustard seed. There are times when we develop that "spiritual dwarf mentality."

What is "spiritual dwarf mentality?" That simply means that you think too small; that your faith is too small; that your commitment to the Lord is just too small; that your trust in God is very small; and that whatever you are facing in life seems so much greater than the God you serve.
So, just how does a Christian with spiritual dwarf mentality see the world around him?


 Every obstacle is a giant standing in the way. Their favorite words in every conversation are "can’t," "won’t," "why," "no and I hope so." Most of these aren’t words of faith and power but words that tend to keep us thinking in a small way.
As I was looking over some material for this thought I came across one of those 12 step programs.

 Now, most of these programs are designed to keep you in a condition of dependency on the program.

 The AA 12 step program and the Narc Anon Program both force you to admit, every time you go to a meeting, that you are an alcoholic or a drug addict.
Yes, this accountability helps but where’s the delivering power in that? Sure, some people are helped but to stay sober they have to be accountable to someone else and never miss a meeting
.

 Isn’t it amazing that the world lives by God’s law more than some of those who consider themselves to be God’s people? I wish that everyone who calls themselves a Christian would also go to the church every time the doors are opened and confess that they are Christians by their lifestyles.

If the alcoholics and the drug addicts miss one meeting they are liable to fall off the wagon, and they are proud to come together and confess that through the support they feel in their group meetings they are able to overcome their habit, even if its only for a short time.
How often do you hear a Christian give God glory and confess that his or her faithfulness to the house of God is what keeps them from falling away from Christ?
I wonder if we changed the name of our meetings from church services to faith builder meetings if it would matter in the faithfulness of our people?

  Perhaps we need to have a 12 step program for those with spiritual dwarf mentality and help them to quit thinking so negatively about life and the giants that they seem to face every day.
Maybe we could call our group "dwarf-anon" and we could develop our own 12 step program for overcoming spiritual dwarf thinking.

liberal Columbia University professors in the '60's. (I know, "liberal Columbia University Professor" is redundant). These two, Cloward & Piven, professors put forth their Cloward-Piven strategy in an article in The Nation magazine. The issue date was May 2, 1966. David Horowitz summarizes the strategy thusly:

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Hmmmmm. Does that sound at all like our current "crisis" in health care? I mean, how many people do you personally know who are in the throes of despair right now because of some needed health care service that is beyond their reach? Oh sure, I know that there are lifeboat cases; there always are, in any society. But do the relatively small percentage of people out there who are facing some sort of unmet medical disaster constitute an entire system in "crisis?" Certainly not. So why the huge push? Why the asinine idea that our economic recovery is dependent on developing some form of national healthcare? Why is this all being painted as a crisis that to be solved right-by-God-now or our entire society is endangered? Well ... Obama and the Democrats, of course, are anxious to get this segment of the economy under their absolute control before next year's mid-term elections. Time is really of the essence for them. Consider also that if you're going to use the Cloward-Pivin Strategy of manufactured crisis, you have to treat it like an actual crisis, and that means dealing with it NOW!

1. The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.
2. The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.
3. The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.

Dear Conservative Friend,

In July 2007, Barack Obama promised a group of his supporters that, if elected president, he would sign perhaps the most evil piece of legislation in the history of our republic.

It's called the "Freedom of Choice Act," or FOCA -- but don't let the Orwellian title fool you. It isn't about "freedom" or "choice" at all. It's about forcing each and every American citizen -- regardless of his or her view on abortion -- to support abortion-on-demand not just as a "fundamental right" but as a taxpayer-funded entitlement.

But the compulsion wouldn't stop there. Because FOCA would also run roughshod over the conscience rights of doctors, nurses, and hospitals that oppose abortion on religious or moral grounds -- forcing them to provide or counsel for abortion or face professional de-certification, loss of funding, lawsuits, and even prosecution.

You see, in his 2007 campaign pledge to Planned Parenthood members, Obama promised that signing FOCA would be "the first thing I'd do as president." The only reason he hasn't followed through on that promise is that Democratic-controlled Congress has yet to introduce and pass it.

Why the delay? For one thing, they've had bigger fish to fry -- such as trillion-dollar "stimulus" packages and a new government-run health care system. They learned from Bill Clinton's immediate post-election action on gays in the military not to squander a new president's honeymoon period on divisive social legislation.

But also, by delaying, they can lull their pro-life opponents into thinking that FOCA has been tabled, while quietly building support for it in a stealth propaganda campaign that is already underway using major media outlets -- such as the Washington Post, which recently ran a piece in its "On Faith" section called "Why Fear FOCA?"

                                                          Can a Christian be a Liberal ? ?


 Can a Christian be a liberal? Short answer: no. Now you notice I said Liberal and not a Democrat. There is a difference as much as there is a difference from a Republican to a Moral Conservative! There is no way a Christian can buy into neo-liberal ideology and be faithful to the bigger-than-TEXAS teachings of the scripture and expect to continue enjoying his hard-won religious liberties.

For the "Christian" to lean politically to the left means that he must blow off huge chunks of the Bible and replace the scripture with the make-believe notions of postmodernism's malleable "Christ." Only after torturing the scripture can the Christian then fit liberalism into his supposed relationship with God.

For the Christian who believes that unfeigned faith in Christ should correspond with Jesus' high view of scripture, it is impossible to believe in God and be an adherent to postmodern liberalism.

Liberalism has been hijacked by bizarre special-interest thugs who defy the Word of God and believe that the Bible has no place in public life (except maybe in a museum where people can look at it from time to time).

The Christian skipping around the maypole wearing his rose-colored glasses who has a bent to the liberal left needs to understand something: if it were left up to the modern, secularized liberal establishment, he would be more restricted than Bill when Hillary's in town. If the Christophobic thugs had it their way, Christians would be relegated to a marginalized spiritual ghetto on the sidelines of life.

For the naive Christian voter who thinks he can toss a ballot in the Nuevo liberal direction, please know that a vote toward the secular left could leave you bereft of sacred liberties. Thanks to the aggressive and ludicrous liberal lug nuts' anti-Christian agenda, your vote for a liberal Christian is a vote for:

1. Christianity to be scrubbed from government and whatever turf the government owns. Thanks to the liberals, the Ten Commandments have about as much acceptance in our government and their properties as Rush Limbaugh would at Al Franken's family reunion. The Judeo-Christian principles that formed the rock-solid foundation of this great American Experiment are now aggressively and consistently attacked by the lascivious left.

  DR.’s now are trying to tell us that this Swine Flu hype is hoax, that is right a HOAX..

You say “David your lying” nope not at all. The only problem is that we are not being told this because the government wants us to be scared. Why is it our leaders have gone from “We have nothing to fear but fear itself” to I have told my family not to ride public transportation. The reason I believe it is because our leaders today want us to be afraid. They think that fear translate into a dependence upon them. Over the past years our leaders have gone from trying to create a independent nation to a mass of dependency.
Hoping that this large mass of scared and dependent group will vote for those who have created I mean those who have alerted you of this crisis.

This Swine hoax has been crazy to me ever since they used the hyped numbers of 130 infected and 4 deaths at the beginning. Like I said before we have 120 die in car wrecks everyday so 4 dieing in 11 days is nothing to get all excited about unless there is another issue at hand. Now some Dr have stated that this hype or hoax is going to be a way for the Administration get the other National crisis of Global over population. Their plan is euphemistically called “Sustainable Development” which is a code phrase for Population Extermination! The evil gurus of Population Extermination are the New World Order group of demonic leaders, including Prince Philip and Prince Charles who rule the world from the City of London, the U.S. President, the Senate and the House of Representatives like puppets on a string, and the leaders of almost every country in the world – who are also puppets of the government.

Now where is all of this death and terror that we were told was going to happen?
WHY are they doing this?
1. Control of the population: terror, giving up one’s rights, quarantine,
2. Further destruction of the economy by the enormous fraudulent “costs” that will be claimed to “control” the epidemic.
3. Huge profits for the pharmaceutical companies for anti-viral treatments – and potential sale of “swine flu” vaccines (supposedly not yet available).
4. Mandatory vaccinations for “swine flu” which the New World Order/Illuminati hopes will kill MILLIONS of Americans and others around the globe. These mandatory vaccines will be purposely contaminated with TERRIBLE diseases that are specifically designed to KILL you.
5. NO vaccination is effective. And EVERY vaccination is UNSAFE. Vaccinations for routine diseases cause horrific damage – and often lead to the death of the vaccinated individual.
6. The “swine flu” vaccine will undoubtedly have even MORE deadly substances added to do its job of killing off millions of people for Population Extermination of 5 1/2 Billion people which the New World Order/Illuminati wants to accomplish within the next 10 years, so THEY can OWN the earth.

  Now this week has been another very busy week. First off we had the Swine Flu hit us. In all of North America 50 people had been killed by this Flu. Now I am not trying to be cruel or harsh but here are the facts. Over a 250 people have gotten sick and about 50 some have died from this disease. However in America Car crashes killed 44,000 Americans in 2006, so if you divide that by 365, that gives about 121 deaths per day in car wrecks. So 50 some people dieing in about 2 weeks over a disease that does not come close to the daily deaths that happen in cars. So what is all the hype about? My little guess is this. What if the new administration is hoping and glad that this has hit us. This way they can slowly push their National Health care plan to help “those who do not or can not help themselves”. Is that too far fetched?

   Then we also had a liberal Republican go where he belongs. So the Republicans have lost another seat and now face a larger force to take control of the Nation. My view of this is well he has voted this way for so long it is about time he went over the fence.

   This week the new administration hit their first 100 days. So to support this two things happened to show us what they really feel about us. First of is this painting was done to celebrate the first 100 days. The name of the painting is called THE TRUTH in reference to the Bible where Christ said “I am the way the truth and life”. So now we have the President of the US being Christ. 2ed we have the administration that wanted to update their photo files Ground Zero, which is the site of 9-11. So they sent one of the nation’s largest 747 planes to fly at 2000 feet above the ground sideways between buildings without telling anyone. So those on the ground saw a larger 747 plane flying as low as those that hit on 9-11 and they started running. So now why would the president send Airforce One to go and fly so low that it would panic those on the ground? No one is sure and of course when this hit the fan the President said he did NOT know about it. Well for a bright man that is leading the nation does NOT know what those UNDER him is doing then why is he the leader? You can not be called the smartest man and NOT know what those under you are doing.

So this past week was the dreaded tax day, we yelled and screamed and protested and fussed. Now what? I mean what are we as a people going to do? We said we did not like high taxes and we said we don’t like the government buying up business. So was it all for nothing? Do we, like the politicians. say what we have to when the time is right then say and do nothing the rest of the time? The Tea Parties were a good way to show what we felt and try and be heard, but if for the rest of the year we do nothing else and do not stand up then it is all a waste of time and energy. I ask you So what now ? That depends upon how committed you are. Were those sayings you stated and painted on those signs words or were they truly your beliefs?

The one thing that this new thing with Miss California has showed us is that our beliefs come with a COST. So what are you willing to lose for your beliefs? Miss Cal stood up for her beliefs and lost the one thing she had spent years training for and put her money into, yet when the time came she went with what she believed in over what would push her into the top of her coveted position. So again I ask you what are you will to lose for your beliefs?

  Well this week I happen to be able to catch two movies on TV. Both of them were the movie Yours, Mine and Ours. They were made at different time. The first was made in 1965 and the 2ed 2005. They were based on the same story line but I did happen to notice a few differences other then the stars. I saw that in 1965 they did not mind talking about and showing spanking a kid when he misbehaved, the 05 movie tried to show how parents did not want to spank because it was wrong and it made the kids “feel” bad. So I began to think if our movies have changed this much how much have we as a society changed?

  So if our movies show that our thoughts have changed on child raising have our thoughts changed on our religious beliefs? Our movies had John Wayne, Roy Rodgers and Client Eastwood. Then in our politics we had JFK who stood up to the Russians over a little island called Cuba and then Harry Truman who said buck stops here. Now who do we have to stand up for us and the U.S.? We still have a two party system but now both parties seem to have the same goal.

  Well our beliefs seem to be watered down here. Our churches once were accused of being “Holy Rollers” we were told we were strange. We dressed differently we talked differently. Now our preachers try their best to get on TV talk shows so they can tell everyone how nice they are and how at peace with everyone they are. They don’t get on their and tell of God’s love and him sending his son to die for them. I heard my self one TV evangelist, when the passion of the Christ movie came out; tell his viewers how shocked he was at the blood and violent actions that were on that movie. He said I think Mel went a little over board with the blood and violence to help draw people to his movie. My first thought was “WHAT are you kidding have you even read the story?”
He was trying to sooth his viewers into a belief “Christians are not like that” story. Again we have watered down our beliefs just to be able to be on TV. Think back to your childhood years was church like it is today. Were Christians and pastors out for making more money and being on TV or were they were trying to see how many people they could get into church to be saved? ? ?

 I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn't much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not been wasted or otherwise sunk down Wall Street's black hole. So why no cheering as the cash comes back? Why have we not heard of this in the news that some of OUR money is coming back?

  My answer: The government wants to control the banks, just as it now controls GM and Chrysler, and will surely control the health industry in the not-too-distant future. Keeping them TARP-stuffed is the key to control. And for this intensely political president, mere influence is not enough. The White House wants to tell 'em what to do. Control, TOTAL CONTROL…

  It is not for nothing that rage has been turned on those wicked financiers. The banks are at the core of the administration's thrust: By managing the money, government can steer the whole economy even more firmly down the left fork in the road.
 
   If the banks are forced to keep TARP cash -- which was often forced on them in the first place -- the Obama team can work its will on the financial system to unprecedented degree. That's what's happening right now. You wanted CHANGE when you voted for OBAMA so now you got CHANGE>>>>

  We have a list of some auto experts that study cars say that have looked over the past few years and they say they have determined the vehicles that have been the demise of the auto industry. So here is their list of Detroit’s mistakes.

  So when we look at this list what do we see. We see a list of cars that Detroit made because the times said that the country wanted “Gas economy savers”. These cars not were not small but they got very good MPG. Some how it seems that every few years when the Government deems it necessary that we make and buy small economy cars Detroit does not seem to know how to make a good one. Just keep making those big safe vehicles and let Japan make the small ones, please.

   Also this week we heard that Congress past this years budget. This budget is so large that it is more then the past 42 president’s budgets put together. Yes, put Washington to Bush’s budgets together and they will not total the one budget that Obama has put forth this year. Interesting.

This weeks update seems to read like an April's fools joke but sadly it is not........

  So let’s start with the latest nominee from the Obama administration. Health and Human Services nominee Kathleen Sebelius seems she is going to have to take care of a few tax problems before she is going to be able to work in Washington. We now find out that she is joins the long list of people that wants to work for Obama and tax those bad evil rich seems to have a problem paying those taxes. Not that is going to stop the Democrats from pushing her thru. I mean when the libs push thru the man who is now in charge of overseeing the IRS and making sure we all pay our taxes found out he was behind in taxes, it does not look like they will mind her small $7000 of back taxes. Just think of what would happen to you if “THEY” found out that you owed $7000 in back taxes? ?

   Today we also found out in sports that some NFL teams have a new standard in picking those their first round picks. In past if a young man was fast enough, quick enough and had hands like glue they were good enough to go into the NFL. Now it seems tho that some teams have a new way of looking for talent. Today coach Singletary of the 49ers if throwing out a first round pick because he refuses to talk to a shrink about his parents divorce. Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford because he was reluctant to talk to a team psychologist about his parent's divorce. So let me get this straight, Teams will take Vick who turned out to kill and injure dogs and gamble on them fighting because he had no problem talking to a shrink. However, this young kid does not want to talk about his parents divorce so teams do not want him. Interesting.

This week has been crazy, just about everyday as I tried to sit and blog a little about what was going on that day something new would hit and make me rethink about what to blog on. So I just figured since it was the weeks end I would just do a quick recap of the past 5 days excitement.

First a crazed nut shots 4 police officers dead after rapping and hurting a 14 yr old little girl. The idiot first hurt and rapped a child; he should be hung up by his testacies just for that alone. Then he proceeded to run from the police and in the process kill four of this country finest. Then a couple days later we hear that stupid people started marching in the streets praising and calling that murder that killed the cops a hero. The only reason they had was because he was black and all 4 of the police officers was white. He should at this point be hung up and shot. OH, by the way I am in favor of the death penalty.

Then the president of the US said he was going to raise the percent of charitable giving that was going to be a tax deduction. This was going to help pay for his “Bail out”. First of all we did not want those loser companies to be bailed out, but I regress. So now let us see how many “Christians” give their tithes because they were getting a little tax credit or because they were doing it as “unto the Lord”?

Then we heard that China now does not trust the Dollar because we have an administration that is gone spending crazy so they want to create a new WORLD currency. Let me see, hmm I think I have heard of this happening somewhere. Oh that is right Revelation talked about it. It was to help introduce the “beast” in the last days. So let me ask, has no one in Washington read the BIBLE ? ? ?

  Ok, I turn on the radio and hear the news that Senator Barney Frank is upset that we, the American People are supporting failures and losers. Well for about a minute I got all excited and said “That queer finally understands what the rest of us have been upset over for the past 8 months or so.” I was soon brought back to reality when I heard why he was so upset. My faith or lack of it in how bright our “leaders” are today was brought to furistion. It seems that Mr. Frank is exasperated over the fact that it has come to his attention that AIG has decided to be an honorable company and pay it’s employees what it has contracted with them as to what they would be paid and their bonuses.

Now if you just look at the numbers or the dollar amount by itself then you can get you undies all in a bunch. However, we need to look at the whole picture here. OK, AIG gave out a lot of bonuses to it’s hard working employees based upon their contract they made up when they were hired. Now all of those bonuses come to a total of $165,000,000.00. That number alone even typing is huge, but it did not go to just one person it did not even go to 12 people. The latest info says it was over 90 people who got bonuses. That amount of money went to a lot of people. That is just a drop in the bucket of the $1,750,000,000.00 that AIG got from us. Now if you want to get upset over something we need to get upset that AIG gave $99,000,0000,000.00 that is right 99 Billion with a B to foreign banks. Not American banks but banks in other countries are getting OUR tax money. That aside Mr. Frank is upset that AIG got bail out money and he is afraid that part or even all of that bonus money is the money that you and I gave to our government then they turned around and gave it to AIG. So if this hundred and sixty five million dollars all came from the bail out funds it would be 1/10 of 1 percent of the amount of money that was given to them via the bail out. That is right it is not even total 1 percent of the money we gave them that they are using to pay these employees. Yet Mr. Frank wants us to get upset over this, why you ask I know I did.

Well as to the heart of this man no one but God knows but it would seem to me that if you want to get people upset at others getting money they were promised then you only concern would be to make that company look bad. So now we are looking at these men and women saying why are you getting all this money? Then we have the president of the United States saying he is going to use all of the resources he has to get back that money.
OH, so now I see. They want us to hate these people cause they are getting some money and then we should feel happy that the government is going to take this money away from them. So we turn to our government for help when we “feel” that others are getting more then they should.

  I found this the other day and it just said it so perfectly.....

 I grew up with practical grandparents who had been frightened by the Great Depression in the 1930's. A mother, God love her, who washed aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then reused it. She was the original recycle queen, before they had a Name for it... A father who was happier getting old shoes fixed than buying new ones. Their marriage was good, their dreams focused. Their best friends lived barely a wave away. I can see them now, Dad in trousers, tee shirt and a hat and Mom in a house dress, lawn mower in on e hand, and dish-towel in the other. It was the time for fixing things ; a curtain rod, the kitchen radio, screen door, the oven door, the hem in a dress. Things we keep.

 It was a way of life, and sometimes it made me crazy. All that repairing, eating, reusing, I wanted just once to be wasteful. Waste meant affluence. Throwing things away meant you knew there'd always be more.

 But then my mother died, and on that clear summer's night, in the warmth of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't any more.

 Sometimes, what we care about most gets all used up and goes away...never to return. So.. While we have it... it's best we love it... And care for it.... And fix it when it's broken..... And heal it when it's sick..

 This is true... For marriage.... And old cars.... And children with bad report cards..... And dogs and cats with bad hips.... And aging parents.... And grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it. Some things we keep. Like a best friend that moved away or a classmate we grew up with.

 There are just some things that make life important, like people we know who are special.... And so, we keep them close!

 I received this from someone who thinks I am a 'keeper,' so I've sent it to the people I think of in the same  way... Now it's your turn to send this to those people who are 'keepers' in your life. Send it back to the person who sent it to you if they, too, are a keeper. Good friends are like stars.. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

  This week the family and I went on vacation, yes I am still on vacation but wanted to send in a blog anyway. The wife and I thought it might be the last vacation we take as a family. See our boys are 21 & 18 this year and we thought since it had been…… 9 years since our last family vacation we had better get one in. LOL

So we found a place started saving up some money and then did something we have never done before. We went and checked to see if the boys could fit our “FAMILY VACATION” into their schedule. That is right we had to find out if our boys wanted to fit their parents in for a week alone with us, crazy I know. They are getting to that age of independence and self preservation. Do not get me wrong that is a good thing.
So we all set our calendar and one week just us, how scary is that? Ok, we get here, we check in and unpack. Then One boy gets the laptop out and the other gets his video camera out and boom they are “on vacation”. It is ok, we had 11 hour drive so we let them go. Next day we say lets go down to the beach and see God’s wonderful creation. We get the normal “oooo man do we have to, ok”. So we go to the beach and the wife starts crying at the wonder and at the sight of the wonder of God’s creation makes my body begin to relax just by hearing the crashing of each wave as they come in. The boys grab a ball and start throwing back and forth. We asked them to come and see and enjoy the ocean, their response “we are”.

Ok, not everyone enjoys the ocean the same way, heck not everyone enjoys the same vacation the same way either. That includes people of the same family. So I have learned that the wonderful and relaxing crashing of crashing waves makes one feel like crying or totally relaxing is not the same another person is going to embrace it. They may feel like it is boring and non-interesting. I told the wife, just wait till they have had a stressful job for 10 years then the next time they come to the ocean it will be a whole new experience for them.

So the next time you want some one to enjoy something that has just made your day or week or God has shown you something that has just blown your socks off, you need to remember that person may not react the same way you are because they are not at the same point in life as you are. God has something totally different for them, and that may not affect YOU the same way as it did them. So enjoy life your way and be happy for others who enjoy it their way.

 So you wonder how could the new budget get up to $3 Trillion so easy. Well let us take a look at one little state, the state of Maryland. Here is  Maryland Congressman Hoyer has seen to it that his folk get thier part of the pie. Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-5th) announced that the Fiscal Year 2009 Omnibus Appropriations bill approved by the House of Representatives Wednesday includes federal funds that will benefit Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s Counties. The Senate is expected to vote on the bill next week before sending it to the President to be signed into law.

 NOW WHEN YOU THE THE LIST BELOW REMEMBER THIS IS JUST THE MONEY WE ARE SPENDING ON ONE STATE....................

A summary of funding in the Omnibus bill for southern Maryland projects appears below (Source: Rep. Hoyer's office):   $380,000 for the Arc of Southern Maryland for renovation and expansion to create a multi-purpose community resources center in Prince Frederick, Md.

$380,000 for the Charles County Homeless Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Facility for the acquisition and rehabilitation of the former Changing Point South mental health facility in order to accommodate up to 100 homeless persons.

Calvert County Mobile Data Terminals - $500,000 ....  Just for the terminals.

The bill includes $500,000 in COPS Technology funding for the Calvert County Department of Public Safety for Mobile Data Terminals (MDT). That is another $500,000.00   

College of Southern Maryland STEM Workforce Initiative- $486,000.  Funding will help equip the Institute for Science Technology, Engineering and Math (ISTEM) that will prepare for the future workforce needs of the region and state. Funding will be utilized for equipment, supplies, and outreach activities for K-12 in Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties. Of the graduating high school students matriculating to college more than 65% attend CSM in all three counties.

College 101: Preparing Women and Minorities for College and Careers in Technology - $143,000   The funding is for St. Mary’s College of Maryland to expand its College 101 program to bring more minority students into the college pipeline; increase minority participation in math and science programs and related programs. The program seeks to also increase the interest of middle school aged females in pursuing careers in math and science.

MD 4 and Suitland Parkway - $1,567,500    Funding will support the MD 4 and Suitland Parkway Interchange project. The Suitland Parkway Interchange project will expand a major corridor from Calvert County in Southern Maryland to Washington, D.C., ease traffic, and improve access to the military bases in Southern Maryland. Funds would be used to upgrade a very congested section of MD 4 to a multi-lane freeway and includes construction of a roundabout diamond interchange and associated ramps connecting MD 4 and Suitland Parkway.

Southern Maryland Commuter Bus Initiative - $950,000     Commuter bus service has grown rapidly in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties over the past sixteen years and the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Southern Maryland Commuter Bus program now operates more than 200 bus trips with a total of 7,200 riders each day. Unfortunately, increased ridership has resulted in a shortage of available parking spaces. This funding will support planning, design and construction of new or expanded commuter parking lots in Southern Maryland, as well as the acquisition of over-the-road coaches that help contractors meet MTA needs.

U.S. 301 Improvements - $712,500     Funds will help address the transportation needs along U.S. 301 in Prince George’s and Charles Counties. This highway is a major commuter thoroughfare from Southern Maryland to Washington, DC. Due to the economic growth in this region, U.S. 301 is often very congested and is in desperate need of upgrades.

MD 246, Great Mills Road, from MD 235 to Saratoga Drive - $712,500     Funds will support streetscape construction of MD 246, Great Mills Road, from MD 235 to Saratoga Drive in Lexington Park in St. Mary’s County. Funding will be used for resurfacing the roadway, replacing curb and gutter, providing continuous 5' wide sidewalks, building a center raised median from FDR Blvd. to Coral Drive, undertaking drainage improvements, consolidating/relocating utility poles, and providing landscaping and pedestrian lighting. All pedestrian facilities will be upgraded to comply with ADA standards.

University Of Maryland Tobacco Alternative Study - $280,000     The Alternative Uses for Tobacco Study, that is right all this money just for a study. THE Program at the University of Maryland is working to develop new non-smoking uses for tobacco, and explores the many valuable uses of the plant. Successful development of this project could help maintain an agricultural base in Southern Maryland, and serve as a model for other tobacco-producing areas.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) -Alliance for Coastal Technologies - $1 Million
The Alliance for Coastal Technologies (ACT) is a partnership of 8 research institutions across the country, including the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science Chesapeake Bay Laboratory in Solomons, that works with NOAA to develop integrated marine observing systems and forecast systems that benefit environmental managers and all coastal users.

Charles County Closed Loop Effluent Reuse System - $750,000    This funding will enable the construction of a treated effluent reuse pipeline from the Charles County Government Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment Plant to White Plains, Maryland, the major distribution hub of the treated effluent reuse system.


 This is just for one state. Now your begging to get the big picture. This new admin is not wanting to help you but they are wanting to control you by having the government in every part of your life.

 Many of you like myself was looking forward to this $13 more per week in your take-home pay. Now most of you like me as well thought because of what they told us that this money was our money that we were going to keep because of the Withholding tables that were being rewritten. This is where your employer gives you your first check in April you will see $13 a week additional in your net, and that reverts to $8 a week starting in January. This happens to be an out and out lie.

It seems that the 13 additional dollars that many Americans will see in their paychecks is not the result of an income tax rate reduction. It's simply a tax credit, or advance on your checks. Even people who do not pay taxes will get this $13. Now most will not understand this, but if you as a tax preparer they will tell you the $13 a month, that is additional income that you will be taxed on next year. That is right you'll have to give it back, because the rates are not being lowered and that will be called income. So there is no tax cut. Now to say that 95% of small business will be off the hook in taxes is just as absurd, it's irresponsible reporting by Mr. Calvin Woodward at the Associated Press. And it gets better. Then to tell us that we will be getting a “TAX CUT” is a lie. "Obama does not propose higher business taxes. But critics reason that owners of many small companies report business income on their personal tax returns instead of filing corporate taxes. That exposes their business's earnings to Obama's higher tax rates on the wealthy." Now, get this. This is the piece de resistance, and I hope you are a small business owner listening to this. "For one thing," writes Calvin Woodward of the Associated Press, "most small businesses don't create jobs" which is another LIE ! ! ! ! !

Understand something. No income tax rate anywhere in the tax code is going down. They're going up. So this is not a tax cut for 95% of the people or for 1% of the people. It's a subsidy, which means it is more of an advance for them to tax. It is simply the redistribution of wealth. It is nothing more than a transfer payment. But it is an out-and-out lie for Calvin Woodward in the Associated Press to assert that most small businesses don't create jobs. The US has roughly six million businesses that employ people and 20 million businesses without employees. They are the employees. Self-employed are employees. How can you have a business with no employees? Twenty million businesses without employees is not possible, because the owner is an employee, and I'll guarantee you there's some people on the cash side being paid. So there are some independent contractors doing some work for these people that are not technically employees. This is just outrageous. It is irresponsible. It is another sign of the absolute degradation of the professionalism that once was journalism. Most small businesses don't create jobs? Twenty million businesses without employees? Many truly small operations say we don't make enough to qualify for the tax hit? They fill up their gas tanks, don't they? Wait 'til the carbon tax hits. Wait 'til the gasoline tax increase hits.

Furthermore, there's no intention to pay for it. Debt, chaos, upheaval, constant growth of government is the plan. It is the design here hidden behind speech after speech after speech that attempts to be inspired toward yes, we can. I'm going to tell you something else. I was thinking about this. It finally hit me. It shows you how easily we all get sucked into premises that are advanced by the left. "Yeah, we got a bad economy, yeah it's not the best in the world, yeah, it's been worse, but we got a bad economy." It doesn't justify all this. Doesn't even come near justifying what we're doing, taking over banks, taking over the mortgage industry, taking over this industry, taking over health care. Universal education was in the budget. Everything is an emergency, the crisis has to be done. It's not, 92% of the American people are still paying their mortgages. Ninety-two percent, 93% of Americans who want a job have a job. It's not the Great Depression. Falling home prices, well, somebody recognizes a deal when they see it.

God meet your "Needs"


OK, the next Christian single women that come to me and tell me that
they are glad that God is coming into there room at nights to meet their
sexual needs I am going to shoot.That is right, shoot. I at first it was
just one woman that went a little off the deep end with Her own mind and
being alone. Now I am having other tell me that they too are having
Their "needs" met by God. So as they should have done I went to the
source and checked it out. I went to the Word and began to see where and
how God met the need sexual needs of women in the new or OLD testament.
You know what I found?

I found that the only ones that came into the night and met the needs of
women were the demons and they created the Giants that end up being a
problem for the Israelites. So I am not sure how or why these women
would be thinking and seeing these things but it is not God. Yes, God
did say he would meet ALL of out needs but this way. The Spirit of God
only came to one woman and she had the JESUS that was it. The Sons of
God in the Old Testament was not God coming to those women it was fallen
angels. Now I understand being lonely and alone but not to the point
that you would allow Satan's imps to come to you have sexual relations
with you. What and how down one would have to be to get to that point. I
know Satan comes to lie and deceive us but to get to this point is just
beyond me.

I you know of woman like this you need to pray and see how you can go to
them and with the Spirit of God show them how they are being deceived.

OK, so all week, no all month, we have heard how a lot of the states are crying that they are not going to have enough money in their account to pay the stat workers. We have even heard that California and Colorado as well as Michigan are talking about not pay back their citizens state tax returns. That is right they do not want to give BACK YOUR money that you over paid to them. Why you ask, well because these states when the money got to them it was already spent.

Now we wonder how or what does this have to do with the Bible? I will tell ya. While everyone else was spending before they had it, and giving money to those who do not deserve it and those who are not citizens of their states. Governors wanted to please people who were not even able to vote for them. There was one governor who said we may want to save a small portion of our income. So the state has been for the past few years putting into a untouchable savings account a portion of their state income.

Now that the economy has taken turn for the worse and our Federal government wants to spend our way out of it the states have to fend for them self’s and most of them are hurting. One has stepped up and said they will not need any help. While CA said they may not be able to pay their state employees next month this state has said that for the next 2 to 3 years they will not need any help. Who you ask? Well it is the one Governor that has taken a bold stand and said they are a born again Christian and has tried to govern the Bible way. That is right Sarah Palin has told Washington they are just fine.

In fact she said by using the Joseph, you all remember him right? He was the man who was traded into slavery and then became 2ed in command of a nation by listening to GOD. He saved the money of the nation overflow and then spent only what they had to spend. This way of running a state Sarah Palin says her state has a surplus of 7.3 billion. Yes you read that right Billion with a B. THEY EVEN have 1.2 Billion set aside for their school systems. So not only are their employees going to get paid if something bad should happen and they need to rebuild or fix up a couple schools they have a different pot of money setup for that. Now tell me why other states do not have this. Because most of them only admit to their being a GOD when the election is close Palin lives her beliefs. That is the difference.

When are we going to stop listening to the wind bags and start looking for those who live what they believe? Someone said we need to help those who have slipped and fallen down not those who are wallowing in the dirt and enjoy it.

 ALL HAIL TEACHER'S UNIONS. (YOU CAN BOW DOWN NOW)

One of the items that got the boot in this "compromise" Senate bill was $50 billion from new federal grants for state education aid. And the teachers unions are furious. The National Education Association is threatening to lower the scores of Collins and Nelson because of their amendment.
From the way things are sounding in the White House, it is doubtful that these cuts will actually stick. Top White House economic aide Larry Summers says that support for education and local government is key in this bill. He says, "There's no question that what we've got to do is go after support for education and there are huge problems facing state and local governments and that could lead to a vicious cycle of layoffs, falling home values, lower property values, more layoffs, and we've got to prevent that."
This money wasn't there to support education, Mr. Summers. It was there to support teacher's unions and you know that to be true. Besides ... can somebody please explain to me how spending billions of dollars on government education is going to stimulate our economy within the next 2 years? You're right ... it wouldn't.

Even with the Senate cuts, colleges and students are going to clean up big time. I should say government colleges and government students.
And can somebody please tell me what is wrong with this .. this quote comes from an Associated Press report:

"If the infrastructure spending survives, it would likely prioritize colleges with high minority enrollments, schools rebuilding from disasters like Hurricane Katrina, and energy-saving projects. It may also take steps to make sure community colleges get their fair share, and private colleges--such as Roosevelt--are hoping the final version will allocate some to their sector, too."
Clearly this is not about growing our economy .. it's about pandering to favorite Democrat special interests. Big surprise there.

  There is a new amnesty bill going through the House. (read on, even if politics bore you)

In fact, the House minority leader called it a "piece of s***". So I'm glad to see America has not gone completely stupid.

But...an insane idea is just an idea that becomes genius 20 years later. But I hope this never makes it through. This amnesty bill would basically make life amazingly easy for illegal immigrants. ILLEGAL....immigrants!



Here's what it would do for them if it gets passed:

Illegal immigrants would be given legal status just 24 HOURS after applying, even if the background check isn't completed.

Tax payers money will be used to pay for the attorneys for the illegal immigrants.

Illegals will be given a temporary visa....that can be renewed indefinitely.

Amnesty will be given to anyone who is know in their country for being a current gang member, as long as they promise "not to be a gang member in America".

Since a lot of Mexicans come over...to give incentive to keep Mexicans from coming over...tax payers money will be spent to pay for education & health care for Mexicans who are living in Mexico.

Illegal immigrants wont have to pay back taxes....but they are eligible for earned income tax credits. Double whammy.

Amnesty will be given to those who have been deported & came back.

Also, finally illegal immigrants will be given tuition for schooling while they live here.

Now I've got some friends who are legal immigrants. I also know some people who are trying to come over & become legal citizens. And I know it is difficult to become an American citizen, no matter what country you are from.

Governments & rules sometimes suck.

  Now I do not calm to be any kind of Economist but I will say this. The amount of money they are going to spend would give every women Man and child living in the U.S. right now $2300.00 for them to spend as they wish. Not that I would want them to do that either. This money is to be spent protecting us from those who would want to kill us. This new administration thinks we want to “spend our way out of trouble”. Listen to me, it did not work in the 30’s and it will not work now. The only thing that got us out of the Great depression was WW II. Not the free spending ideas of the Great Deal.  First of all when this election began they said it wasn’t about race. But that is all I heard throughout the whole election campaigns and it came from both sides. But after the election I thought it would stop since cause there would be no need to mention it, but yet again it is all I have heard. When is it going to be about the job and not his skin. I could give a crap if he’s purple with yellow polka dots…..can he do the job? Will he make the right decisions? Does he represent ....AMERICA.... they way THE PEOPLE want to be represented? Are his priorities in the right order? I could give a crap about what designer clothing label he and his family are wearing or what kind of dog they are going to get. I’ve never cared about any of that in any of the previous presidents either. But what really ticked me off was the benediction given by Rev. Joseph Lowery. He stated and I quote, “God help us work for that day when black will not be asked to give back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man and when white will embrace what is right.” So white people are the only ones who are racist? Black, yellow, red, and brown aren’t? So Yellow is the only race that is violent? When is this idiot and everyone around him going to stop playing the race card? When is it going to be about ....America....? All I hear him talk about is how bad the black people are treated and how they are owed something. I have never owned anyone, nor forced anyone to do anything for me, or had someone do something for me and not paid them for their hard earned work. I own NO ONE anything!!! Literally, everyone I have in my home and my two cars are mine. I have paid for them in full. I can not nor should I pay for something that someone else did. That’s like sending me to prison because my neighbor shot someone and I’m guilty because I live next to him. The wrongdoings against the black race ended in 1865, when the hell is it going to finally be the right time to stop bitching about it and let it go. None of the people who were slaves are even alive to day. So why are the people now still bitching about it? I know what happened 144 years ago was wrong and I don’t ever want anything like that to ever happen again. But really let it go and leave it for the history class at school. There is no equality in anything about this country. Instead of looking at the small picture everyone wants us to look at why don’t we look out the big bay window and out into the real word. There is no equality in any race. Indian’s get lots of money just for being Indian and they don’t have to do a damn thing to earn it like the rest of us just because people over 200 years ago forced them to live on reservations. They are now free to buy houses just like the rest of us and live lives like anyone else, so why am I still giving to them??? Black people have special all black college funds and can have their own all black clubs where as white people can not do that or they are put into jail and fined. There is not one single all white club in this country. But there is for every other race. Foreign people that make it into this land go to school for free and can get free medical care. Some races have been blessed with the position to be able to have certain things, but because the others couldn’t do it we tell those people they can’t do it anymore but then turn around and let the other people who couldn’t before do it. That’s not equality!!!! That’s being bias towards one people just to serve another. Since it is now made that everyone has the ability to get scholarships and financial aid and can attend college, jobs should be about how qualified and knowledge they are. Not about where you’re born, who you know or are related to, what color your skin is, young or old, tall or short, blonde or brunette, big breast or small breast, man or women. So until all of us can do what everyone else can there is no equality. There will always be separation in this country if we continue to tell people that other people owe them something for something they didn’t do because the other people who didn’t do it will never understand how they have to give something to someone when they did not do the crime and wasn’t even alive to commit the wrong. So if we are ever going to become one as a country and as a people, we need to stop pointing out our color and wrong doings in the past and look to the future and strive for a strong economy, peace (world and inner). And strive for what is good for all. Not for what is good for one type of people and take away from the other. I am sure this will tick off some people, but I respect their difference of thought. And if they are American they will be smart enough to know that everyone is entitled to their opinion and we should respect that liberty and hold it to it's highest regard.

       OK, Everyone heard or saw the Immaculate conception yesterday so we all, or most of us now know we have a new president in the White House. So how do we start this off? Well let us take a look at some of the words that were said yesterday and find out how much trouble we are all really in.
OK, you can fill that in for your self. If not then you’re not talking to the same ones I am.
The first point I want to hit on is this how today’s Christians want to live like that the Amish. The only problem with that is they keep wanting to win the world over for Christ. Then they don’t want to be “so worldly” that use any new technology.

I a couple of people who a few years back said that this new Internet was nothing but the tool of the devil to spread porn. Now come people really, the ones who can spread porn is us. That is like saying that all of the guns in the world are bad cause “Guns kill people”. That is just plain stupid. The internet is only going to spread what people put on it. Now if we (Christians) let only the porn industry use it then yes it will spread porn. However, if we get ahold of it and start putting our churches and our sermons and out songs on the web then we will spread the good news. These are all tools. It is in how we use them how and what they spread.

If you want your TV, radio and internet to be more filled with your favorite ministries then you need to start speading some of your money on helping them so it. Then on the other hand you can put out your money and get a web site or radio commercial of your own start spreading the Word of God your way.

A young Canadian man, searching for a way of getting drunk cheaply, because he had no money with which to buy alcohol, mixed gasoline with milk. Three Brazilian men were flying in a light aircraft at low altitude when another plane approached. It appears that they decided to moon the occupants of the other plane, but lost control of their own aircraft and crashed. They were all found dead in the wreckage with their pants around their ankles.

A 22-year-old Reston , VA , man was found dead after he tried to use octopus straps to bungee jump off a 70-foot rail road trestle. Fairfax County police said Eric Barcia, a fast food worker, taped a bunch of these straps together, wrapped an end around one foot, anchored the other end to the trestle at Lake Accotink Park, jumped and hit the pavement. Warren Carmichael, a police spokesman, said investigators think Barcia was alone because his car was found nearby. 'The length of the cord that he had assembled was greater than the distance between the trestle and the ground,' Carmichael said. Police say the apparent cause of death was 'Major trauma.'

A man in Alabama died from rattlesnake bites. It seems that he and a friend were playing a game of catch, using the rattlesnake as a ball. The friend - no doubt a future Darwin Awards candidate - was hospitalized.

Employees in a medium-sized warehouse in west Texas noticed the smell of a gas leak. Sensibly, management evacuated the building extinguishing all potential sources of ignition; lights, power, etc.
After the building had been evacuated, two technicians from the gas company were dispatched. Â Upon entering the building, they found they had difficulty navigating in the dark. To their frustration, none of the lights worked. Witnesses later described the sight of one of the technicians reaching into his pocket and retrieving an object that resembled a cigarette lighter.

Upon operation of the lighter-like object, the gas in the warehouse exploded, sending pieces of it up20 to three miles away. Nothing was found of the technicians, but the lighter was virtually untouched by the explosion. The technician suspected of causing the blast had never been thought of as ''bright'' by his peers.

Now, the winner of this year's Darwin Award (awarded, as always, post humously):

The Arizona Highway Patrol came upon a pile of smoldering metal embedded in the side of a cliff rising above the road at the apex of a curve.. The wreckage resembled the site of an airplane crash, but it was a car. The type of car was unidentifiable at the scene. Â Police investigators finally pieced together the mystery. An amateur rocket scientist had somehow gotten hold of a JATO unit (Jet Assisted Take Off, actually a solid fuel rocket) that is used to give heavy military transport planes an extra 'push' for taking off from short airfields. He had driven his Chevy Impala out into the desert and found a long, straight stretch of road. He attached the JATO unit to the car, jumped in, got up some speed and fired off the JATO!

The facts as best as could be determined are that the operator of the 1967 Impala hit the JATO ignition at a distance of approximately 3.0 miles from the crash site. This was established by the scorched and melted asphalt at that location.

The JATO, if operating properly, would have reached maximum thrust within 5 seconds, causing the Chevy to reach speeds well in excess of 350 mph and continuing at full power for an additional 20 -25 seconds.

The driver, and soon to be pilot, would have experienced G-forces usually reserved for dog fighting F-14 jocks under full afterburners, causing him to become irrelevant for the remainder of the event.

However, the automobile remained on the straight highway for about 2.5 miles (15-20 seconds) before the driver applied and completely melted the brakes, blowing the tires and leaving thick rubber marks on the road surface, then becoming airborne for an additional 1.4 miles and impacting the cliff face at a height of 125 feet leaving a blackened crater 3 feet deep in the rock. Most of the driver's remains were not recoverable.

However, small fragments of bone, teeth and hair were extracted from the crater, and fingernail and bone shards were removed from a piece of debris believed to be a portion of the steering wheel.

Epilogue: It has been calculated that this moron attained a ground speed of approximately 420-mph, though much of his voyage was not actually on the ground.

You couldn't make this stuff up, could you?

  Some 'dirtbag' in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state wide manhunt ensued.

The low-life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun. SWAT team officers fired and hit the guy 68 times.

Now here's the kicker:

Naturally, the media asked why they shot him 68 times. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel: 'That's all the bullets we had !!' (Talk about an all-time classic answer !!!)

Justice Served. Bullets are much cheaper than 40 years of meals, cable and civil rights........

  Ok, here it is once and for all we could get the Supreme Court answer about the Pres Elect.
 

You thought he had swept this under the rug, well so had the media. Now there are two cases before them to see if they want to take on the Anointed One.....

 People are sending in e-mail all over, "Why are you not reporting on the Supreme Court case to determine if Obama is a 'natural born' citizen?" said one last week.

"When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom's dwindling empire," said another e-mail.

"As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.'s children," it continued.

"Obama has lived for 48 years without leaving any footprints," another email thundered.

"There is no Obama documentation -- no records -- no paper trail -- none -- this is no accident. It is being done on purpose with Media help - but to serve whom & why??"

(Cue the ominous music.)

"Why wouldn't The Pres. Elect clear up this constitutional issue once and for all by coming forward with clear documentation that proves that he is an American Citizen. Not doing so only raises more suspicion that he is not," said yet another email sent to me last week.

Basically, we are at the point where the guy could produce a completely legitimate birth certificate, and the same group of people who don't believe he's a US citizen will still believe he's not a US citizen.

Back in June, the Obama campaign did release digital copies of his birth certificate from Hawaii. But because they haven't trotted out the original, it has spurred even more conspiracy theory type stuff.

Two cases are before the Justices. Each would need at least four Justices to call for consideration. Lower courts threw out the lawsuits.

We'll see what happens today. And then we will see if it is reported.

The BIBLE Through the eyes of a child:

 In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one, but I think He must be a lot older than that.

He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet.
 Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden. Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.
 Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel.
Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah , who lived to be like a million or something.
 One of the next important people was Noah, who was a good guy, but one of his kids was kind of a Ha m. Noah built a large boat and put his family and some animals on it. He asked
some other people to join him, but they said t hey would have to take a rain check.
 After Noah came Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob was more famous than his brother, Esau, because Esau sold Jacob his birthmark in exchange for some pot roast. Jacob had a son
named Joseph who wore a really loud sports coat.

 Another important Bible guy is Moses, whose real name was Charlton Heston . Moses led the Israel Lights out of Egypt and away from the evil Pharaoh after God sent ten plagues on Pharaoh's people. These plagues included frogs, mice, lice, bowels, and no cable.
God fed the Israel Lights every day with manicotti. Then he gave them His Top Ten Commandments. These include: don't lie, cheat, smoke, dance, or covet your neighbor's stuff.

One of Moses' best helpers was Joshua who was the first Bible guy to use spies. Joshua fought the battle of Geritol and the fence fell over on the town.

After the Old Testament came the New Testament . Jesus is the star of The New He was born in Bethlehem in a barn. (I wish I had been born in a barn too, because my mom is always saying to me, 'Close the door! Were you born in a barn?' It would be nice to say, 'As a matter of fact, I was.')
During His life, Jesus had many arguments with sinners like the Pharisees and the Democrats.
Jesus also had twelve opossums.The worst one was Judas Asparagus. Judas was so evil that they named a terrible vegetable after him.
Jesus was a great man. He healed many leopards and even preached to some Germans on the Mount. But the Democrats and all those guys put Jesus on trial before Pontius the Pilot. Pilot didn't stick up for Jesus. He just washed his hands instead.
Anyways, Jesus died for our sins, then came ba ck to life again.
He went up to Heaven but will be back at the end of the
Aluminum. His return is foretold in the book of Revolution.

 I WOULD COMPARE THIS TO THE 'WISDOM' OF SOLOMON!!!!!

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:
"Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help!
My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together."

So the doctor said: "Ok, and what do you want me to do?"

She said: "I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this."

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: "I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too."

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: "You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: "No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!
"I agree", the doctor replied. "But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution." He smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

    Ok, for over a year now we have heard nothing but change. Every politician worth and not worth running used the word. They all wanted to change something, but no one more then our current president-elect Obama. That word became his mantra. It soon became a joke as much as codswallop to all of us. So let us take a look at the word, change.

    The definition means to: Alter and go in a different direction.

   So now let us look at the “change” President-elect is making.

   1.  First off he has to get a Chief of Staff, so he went and got Rahm Emanuel. So who is this guy, wow look at that he was former President Clinton’s legal adviser. No one new!

  2.  Now the V.P. needs a Chief of staff, he went and got Ron Klain. Who is he? Well he was
Former V.P. Gore’s Chief of Staff. Change, not so much, again this is NO ONE NEW!

  3.  So for his next move Obama was to put someone in charge of the FCC. That group of
People that want to tell everyone what we should and should not see and hear. So who Did he put in charge of this group well non other then the great Henry Rivera. Yes your Correct, this is the same person who thinks that the 1949 Fairness Doctrine should be law. His strong belief is to dismantle commercial talk radio. So any and all of you who listen to O’Reilly, Rush, Hannity or anyone else who think freedom is out most important resource then you better listen while you can. Now this person will cause change, but will you like the change? Now for those of you who say “I don’t care I don’t listen to talk radio.” Well just remember once powerful people get something they like they go for more. So your newspaper, then you magazines and then your church pastors will be told what they are “allowed” to say. They can’t do that you think, what do you think the so called HATE SPEECH is for? ? ?

   I hear all of these different people talking on radio and TV telling their listeners that they want them to understand that now  that the one person they may not have voted for is president that we now have to pray for them. Since Obama is in office we  can not wish ill will against him and other things. I wonder who do they think we are? Are we in the old west that when we  do not like someone or the outcome of an election we go on a wild rant. What do they think we are Liberals?? That was not  nice to say. But so you understand? Christians should come from a place of Godly love for people ALL PEOPLE. Just  because we do not get our way does not mean we lose our conviction but we live with the outcome. Did Daniel or the 3
 Hebrew kids lose their cool when they lived in a country that did not worship GOD, NO. So why should we be any different?  Now do not get me wrong I do believe that there are a lot of new and BAD changes coming down the pike. That is not in our hands any more. As we pray for our leaders we need to pray that they will listen to the wisdom of GOD.

 On another note I was just wondering. I saw a conversation with Valerie Jarrett, the co-chair of Barack Obama's Transition Team. Her words are below. Read them and let me know if you see anything that is out of place?

  There is one president at a time. President Bush is still the president. He's graciously invited President-elect Obama to the White House tomorrow to begin their conversations of the transition. So we respect that. He will be the president until January 20th. However, giving--given, really, the daunting challenges that we face, it's important that President-elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one. So we will be working closely with his administration. We're reviewing the agencies now. He will be making key personnel decisions. He gets national security briefings every day now as well, but he will not be the president until January 20th.

It didn't take me too lone to get this yesterday. Well maybe I did have to read it twice, but when I read it something just did not sit right with me. Did you catch it, NO? Read it again. Presidents govern. They manage. They lead. They don't RULE. China, North Korea, Venezuela, and most countries in Africa have "rulers." We don't. This is a hint at the mindset of the Obama crowd. The people of the United States have elected a "ruler," not a leader. A ruler with a penchant for nifty little emblems on his speaking podiums, by the way, Now are you sure you voted for the right perso? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Ok, I got it now. It has taken me a little time but I have figured out how to speak Obama.
That is right I have taken it upon myself to learn his ways and his speech and I have figured out how to speak and understand Obama. Below is a part of an interview Senator Obama had on MTV. So I want you to read the question and his actual response then below that I will inform you of what he was really trying to say but could not for political and party reasons.

  MTV: Our next question is from Matt from Iowa: "If your desire is to spread the wealth around, what incentive is there for me to try to work hard? If I am only going to get more taken away from me, the more money I make, why wouldn't I just slide into a life of relaxation and let rich people take care of me? And a lot of people are asking similar questions, and I wanted you to specify. What does this mean exactly?"
 
   Obama: What is amazing to me is this whole notion that somehow everybody is just looking out for themselves ... You don't just give tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires. What you do is make sure the tax code is fair ... So this idea, that somehow everybody is just on their own and shouldn't be concerned about other people who are coming up behind them, that's the kind of attitude that I want to end when I am president.

  NOW his real words:: I can not understand why individual independence is so important to everyone…. I know you hate the rich because my friends in the media have taught you to. The old and outdated tax code and system only helps those who pay taxes that is not fair. This individually non sense is so outdated I want to show you lazy butt kids that you do not need to work hard but that those who have money because of the crazy tax code is wrong. I am going to make sure when I am president that what is theirs is going to be yours and MATT you be able to slide and let the mean rich people take care of you!

 I saw this today and I have felt this way and could not say it any better.....

I know, of course, that this election is not over until the polls close on November 4th. Some of you may be right. Perhaps I have been a bit negative ... but when you look at the polls and consider the advantages God's Candidate has, it's hard to be optimistic. But can McCain win? Sure he can .. but there are some things that are going to have to happen.

1. Don't even think you're going to change the minds of black Americans on this one. They're going to vote for Obama .. and that is that. So, what else is new? Black America has been in the tank for Democrats for quite some time now.

2. A lot of voters are going to have to get a lot more familiar with Barack Obama. There going to have to realize that he is a man with limited experience – very limited – who has wonderful oratorical skills and not much else.

3. Since most Americans work for small businesses – owned by the very people being target by Barack Obama for tax increases – they're going to have to realize that voting for The Chosen One might actually put their job in jeopardy. See my advice to small business owners below.

4. Voters will have to ask themselves whether they are voting for a candidate they truly know and understand, or if they are merely following the MoveOn-Media-led herd off the cliff.

5. Voters are going to have to see through is lies and half-truths. His latest effort to lead voters astray is his statement that 95% of privately-owned businesses don't earn $250,000 a year. While that statistic may be right, it is completely meaningless. If you understand that, you won't vote for Obama. If you don't, you will.

6. Additionally, voters will have to realize that in the end businesses – and that means all businesses – don't pay taxes. The collect the taxes from their customers and pass them on to the government. Sometimes they collect the money needed to pay taxes from their employees, by firing them and keeping all of the money, or by denying them their next pay increase.

7. Obama-bots are going to have to suddenly realize that character does count for something, and hanging around with unrepentant terrorists, America-hating preachers, corrupt politicians and crooks does say something about one's character.

8. They'll have to understand that Michelle Obama meant it when she said that she was never proud of the USA until her husband became a front-runner for the Democrat convention.

9. More voters will have to realize that America is great because of the dynamic of a free people working together in economic freedom with a basic set of rights guaranteed under a constitution establishing a rule of law, not because of government. McCain understands this. Obama doesn't.

10. They'll have to understand that government is force. Chose carefully those to whom you would give control over the police power of government.

11. Maybe seeing that Argentina has just seized all private pension plans might wake some people up. Who knows?

12. Speaking of corruption ... voters will have to understand that Barack Obama has had many opportunities in his political
life to take a stand against government corruption. Not ONCE has he ever stepped up to the plate.

There's much more, but you get the idea. Yeah, Obama could lose. But he has the media totally in the tank for him ... and a government educated voting population poised to go to the polls. The odds aren't good.

  OK, so now we know and so does Obama that if he is elected we ( US ) will be attacked and "TESTED" !
 So IF we know this and Obama know this don;t you know that our enemies know this and are planing this.
 I saw this and thought I wonder if the Sen. is trying us to get ready so that if and when this happens he can
 say I told you so. We had a lot of that with Pres. Clinton. He would leak a little bad news so that when the news
 got ahold of it and put it out there for us to read he would then come out and say. What are you so mad about
 you knew about this a couple of weeks ago. I told you blah blah.
 Then we thought oh yea that is true we already knew this so we can't get mad. That is B S.
When we get hit and attacked who is going to say ""THIS IS YOUR FAULT OBAMA"" ????
 No one we will get mad at the attacker even tho we know that by putting a newbie in office we are going to get
 as he says "TESTED" Well I for one am tired of getting tested. 9-11 was enough of a test for me.
 when are we going to start "paying back" ???????

  You want change you have it......  Obama will be the first president to increase taxes solely for the purpose of income redistribution, not for the purpose of funding the essential operations of government. That's a HUGE change.

  Ok we now have been on the “Recovery Roller Coaster” for over a week now.
I want someone with a straight and HONEST face to tell me that we would have a worse week on our stock market if we DID NOT do the bail out bill. They can’t and I know why, no one knows what the stocks will do for sure. So what do we do, we an honest self sufficient person says I am going to get up and go on my way and keep working to help me and my family. Our free market society government says OH wait stocks hit a bump again then we will start buying up these poor banks. That way the government will have MORE control of your money.

    So now we are not moving towards a self sufficient independent people we are now going quickly towards a Socialist government. As Christians I say we are not helping the situation we are too much of the time a big part of the problem.

    We need to pray and witness to the lost not try and legislate the bible. Christ himself said give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and what if the Lord’s to the Lord. Today however we think if we get the right President into office or the right congressman in office that the whole country will be “Forced” to live right. God does NOT want forced disciples he wants a willing disciple. We ( Christians ) need to stop this “if they don’t want to over turn Roe v Wade then we are not voting for him.

   Get a grip people Roe v Wade is done. Now what the Lord wants is for US to witness to those who would want to have an abortion. The word never says you will either become a follower of Christ or we will kill you. That is the other kind and gentle religion. We need to ask will the leader of this country allow us to stay free to worship the one true God or will he/she make it harder for to worship. That is the only question we as Christians need to ask when we vote. Now as other things like taxes, immigration and terrorist threats prevail on our own as it pertains to each of our lives we need to vote how we think it should go. As a group of Christians we need to stop try to legislate the WORD and start preaching it. Let them make the choice to follow Christ or to turn away. It is NOT our job to make followers of Christ but to lead them to Christ.

Well as the stack market opened it went down a little but ok we are use to that, hour goes by and we are down over 100 point. It will bounce back we passed the bill. Three hours are pass and now the stocks dive bombing down pass the all evil 10000 mark. Wait we passed the bill. Four hours and we are 600 points down, your not listening WE PASSED THE BILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Our government wants to spend 700 BILLION of our tax dollars. We were told if this is not done our money will is worth nothing and out economic stability will be crushed when Wall Street dives and we enter another recession or even depression. So America spoke and said no and a majority of the House said no with us. Wall Street wanting to be bailed out did go down 700 points. So now everyone wants to know who is responsible for this.

    There are many different thoughts in our Government each side is blaming the other side. Companies are blaming Government for not enough over sight and Government is blaming companies for their golden parachutes. So who is too blame? I want to offer a different side here.

   We, the U.S., are suppose to be a CHRISTIAN nation. We say we believe in God our money says In God we Trust but is it so. Do we walk the walk? Now having just bought a house a few months ago my wife and I went thru the process everyone says is part of the problem, mortgages and lending. I would say the problem is the LENDER. Now do go getting your feeling hurt just yet.

   A lender can borrow up to 70% of the amount if they have good credit and if they make enough, but if you lie and state a HIGHER amount of income you can get up to 90% of the amount. Now there is very little verification on your earnings and if you wanted to you could call yourself “SELF Employed” and state any amount you wanted. Then with a wave of the magic stick you now have 90% of the amount and you will not be able to pay it back if anything should happen like a lay off or you get fired.

   So we have a Christian nation lying to banks and mortgage companies to get more money that they in their hearts know they really can’t pay back. We have Christians going around condemning others for drinking a glass of wine all the while they are committing fraud on paper just so they have a “Dream House” with a picket fence. Then when they can’t pay they yell at the banks for wanting to foreclose on their little dream house and they go and complain to their congress and their senator. Then we are in an election year so everyone wants to look good now so Our government starts saying these bad banks can not force these people to pay back the money that they owe that is just wrong.

   So now Christians are committing fraud, they are lying, they are stealing cause they don’t want to pay the money they owe back, and then they go every week to church and say Pray for me the devil has been attacking me ALL WEEK.

                     AND WE WONDER WHY THE WORLD DOES NOT WANT OUR LIFESTYLE ? ? ? ? ?

  We the People, maybe the best and most powerful first words ever spoken or written since In the beginning God. This week we found out that a few of those that have been selected to run the biggest financial institutions in this great country have been driving them into the ground. Now that they have broken the company and ruined thousands maybe millions of lives they want the rest of us PEOPLE to bail them out. Then on top of that they want to be paid a large amount of money doing this great job.

  Now in the past this country has told people and companies as well as other nations. Let the free market rule. We have told people and leaders of country are that they need to let the market determine the amount something cost and the way things are made and etc. Somehow, a lot of money paid is how, now the leaders of the US think that we the people need no HAVE to bail out those who got these companies into trouble. Their reason is if we don’t it COULD create a lager mess and problems.

 OK, let us take a look at that. About 12 years ago Japan had a similar thing happen. Their government decided that it HAD to step in and bail them out. Well ever since then their economy has been barely moving the prosperity that they once enjoyed has now been overcome with trying to come out of a very bad recession. So if we give them 700 billion we will be trying to over come it for the 10 to 15 years.

 Yes it will be hard to let these companies and those affected hit rock bottom and the economy will take a hit but if we let the free market take it’s course within 2 to 5 years we will be back bigger and stronger and will have learned not to let those who were in charge of those failing companies to ever ever have a top CEO or CFO ever again.

Biden calls paying higher taxes a patriotic act

WASHINGTON - Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. In a new TV ad that repeats widely debunked claims about the Democratic tax plan, the Republican campaign calls Obama's tax increases "painful."

 So let me get this straight here. We have gone from throwing tea in into the harbor because of taxes to telling people that paying higher taxes is out patriotic duti. Now I am not sure but I do think is one of the things that our forefathers would truly be turning over in their graves for, if they were still in there.

 So this election has gone from who do you think is the right and best person for the job to elect me cause I will help you do your patriotic duty by making you pay more taxes. Now don’t get me wrong here I think McCain is not much better or really very conservative but he has not told everyone that it will be their duty to pay higher taxes if he gets elected, yet.

Dang I wish someone with a true belief in FREEDOM was on the ticket.

  I was going to try and do something about 9 11 today but everyone and everything just about had been said. Then I found this little gem by a good man, Chuck Norris.

   I'll be honest with you. I'd been giving consideration to third-party candidates. As a conservative with a renewed pledge to bear the legacy of America's Founders, I wasn't going to simply concede to the McCain ticket unless he made a credible (and what might be viewed as a radical) choice for vice president.

  McCain is a good man, solid in character, and fully capable to lead our country into the future. But America also needs a fresh, reputable outsider who isn't afraid to confront Washington corruption, government gridlock or partisan paralysis. When I heard Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was McCain's choice, I knew she was a woman whom Americans could support and trust. Sarah is tough, smart, competent, credible and confident enough to fight those even in her own party. I believe she even will help to keep McCain accountable and in check.

  Gov. Palin comes from a small town with small-town values. Sarah was sworn in as Alaska's youngest and first female governor, in 2006. This mother of five was tired of seeing government running amuck and awry and stepped into public service to reform it. And she has a clear and long record of doing just that: bucking the status quo, cutting taxes and government waste, reducing big government, establishing ethics committees, pursuing alternative energy, and being pro-family and pro-life (as witnessed by her choice to cherish her baby with Down syndrome and to support her 17-year-old daughter keeping her baby and marrying the father).

  The fact is far-left liberals don't know how to respond to strong, conservative female political leaders. They hail Hillary but try to impale Palin. But Sarah has sparred them many times before and has come out of the ring without a scratch. Sarah is so tough that she inspired a new tongue-in-cheek Web site (www.PalinFacts.com), which parallels the "Chuck Norris Facts" folklore Web site. It gives some mythical, yet complimentary "facts" about Sarah Palin's life, potential, character and career. Here are three of my favorites:

--Sarah Palin once carved a perfect likeness of the Mona Lisa in a block of ice using only her teeth.

--Sarah Palin doesn't need a gun to hunt, because she can throw a bullet through an adult bull elk.

--And my favorite: Sarah Palin is courageous and tough enough to shave Chuck Norris's beard -- and face off against his third fist disguised as a chin.

All joking aside, one real fact about Gov. Palin is that both Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are shaking in their boots over her candidacy and prospective appointment to the vice presidency. Obama talks about change, but McCain further lived out his commitment to reform with his choice of Palin to be his running mate. Obama chose government-as-usual Sen. Biden. The new VP Palin WHO?

  OK, I want to start off with saying I agree with Governor Palin’s politics and after a little more knowing about her might even would vote for her, but. I do have a few questions that I think all of the conservatives with a so called brain have decided NOT to ask.

   First question is WHY NOW?

  I want to know if Mrs. Palin is the smartest most talented and strongest conservative that there ever was. I mean for her to be the FIRST women ever picked to run as a Republican nominee she most be the one all be all EVE of conservatives, right? Now we know she has a Christian background and is a strong Anti Abortion supporter and she is even a gun totting mama, but why NOW? Well let us try to put a couple of things together. ONE McCain put out a quiet plea for an unknown strong conservative a couple of months back. The reply from Sean Hannity was that he not only should be has to pick Mrs. Palin. So the why now would be McCain wanted an unknown to be able to push him stronger into the “Right Wing” part of the conservatives?

  Second Question is  What does she OFFER?

   Well since we all know that Washington is a place of favors and people owing you. We even found out last year through some of the Supreme Court tapes that were allowed to go public that even the highest court was not exempt from one justice calling in a favor from one another. So if the Supreme Court is not exempt then the position of Vice President would have to be one of someone who has the most markers owned them, right? So let us see a female governor from Alaska would have how many markers to call in, NONE. So she is a female that has no clout and no pull so why would someone pick her? The only reason I can think of is she is a person that can not out weight the Glory hog of a Nominee that we have, McCain.

So McCain picked a no name no clout female to try and draw the women who wanted Hillary as president. Her big pull is she is a Christian mother of 5 who loves guns. Well heck why not put her as president and kick McCain the fake out. MAN, would I love that !

So to answer my own question. What does it take to get the Republicans to nominate a Strong conservative women for VP?

 ANSWER:

  We would have to nominate the most egotistical and power hungry man that feels the presidency was stolen from him. Have him vote against the strongest core beliefs of the conservatives and side with the most liberal senators known. Then have the core of the Republican Party faithful vow to not vote if that is their choice. Then that would make him have to go and find a no name strong conservative women that he can show off and to prove how conservative he is. Then boom we have our first women VP nominee,

5 Types of Pastor

All pastors could perhaps be placed in one of the following categories:

The Catalytic Pastor: The catalytic pastor is wired to stir things up. They’re gifted in the prophetic and tend to be charismatic leaders. These pastors have lots of energy and are focused on the mission of the church … that is, reaching the community for Jesus Christ. In the “right” church, they’ll grow it without a doubt. In the “wrong” church, they’ll create conflict, they’ll be frustrated, and they’ll either burn out or they’ll move on … assuming they’re not fired first. Catalytic pastors are ideal church planters but often lack the finesse and patience for church transformations (except in those VERY rare churches that are truly willing to do anything to reach the community for Jesus).

The Cultivating Pastor: The cultivating pastor is wired to break up hard ground, plant seeds, nurture the fields, and are both willing and able to bring in a harvest. They’re gifted in big-picture understanding, systems analysis, and systems manipulation (in a good way). Because of their systems understanding and their patience, they are able to cultivate change and transformation over time. However, they’re tenacious and are used to getting their way in the long run … because they know how to deal with obstacles that get in their way. Cultivating pastors are well suited for church transformations in churches that can afford to effect gentle change that takes significant time … as many as seven to ten years.

The Conflict-Quelling Pastor: The Conflict-Quelling pastor is exactly the type that the name implies … they’re the guys and gals who are natural or skilled peacemakers, mediators, and/or conflict managers. These pastors are wired differently than any of the other pastoral types. They’re not catalytic and they’re distinctive from chaplains. Instead, these folks can walk into a congregation and in short order assess the situation and instinctively seem to know who the major players are. They are affable and able to build bridges. They tend to be quiet and reflective … when they speak, they do so with conviction, wisdom, and certainty. Conflict-Quelling pastors make excellent interim pastors and/or troubled-church pastors.

The Chaplain Pastor: The Chaplain pastor is wired for peace, harmony, and pastoral care. This is the type of pastor that has been produced by seminaries for several decades, though a few … a very few … seminaries are retooling. Chaplain pastors eschew change and value status quo. They don’t want to stir the waters; rather, they want to bring healing to hurting souls.
They are excellent listeners and tend to be good networkers within the community, primarily so they can extend their ministry, but also so they can refer those in need to oasis’ of help. Chaplain pastors don’t grow churches. In fact, a Chaplain pastor will hasten a congregation’s demise because they tend to focus on those within the congregation rather than in bringing new converts to Jesus Christ. Churches that have very little hope of transformation and church growth do well with Chaplain pastors who serve as hospice care.

The Catatonic Pastor: This type of pastor is, frankly, either lazy or sick. There are far too many of these pastors. They take refuge in their offices ostensibly to do sermon preparation, create brochures, sum up numbers, and so on, but ultimately they’re spinning their wheels and accomplishing very little.

They may or may not do the hospital visitation, but they seldom miss an opportunity to have a meal with one of the inside buddies. Catatonic pastors tend to be well liked by the power holders in the church, because the Catatonic pastor is easily manipulated and seldom, if ever, makes waves … except when they need to accomplish something and fail to meet even the lowest of expectations. Indeed, Catatonic pastors may remain as the senior pastor of a church for many years because they know how to schmooze their way into grace.

Churches that hate change often end up with excellent examples of Catatonic pastors. Catatonic pastors may spend a lot of time “at work” but any congregation that sets performance goals for their Catatonic pastor will quickly discover that time in the office does not guarantee results. Of course, Catatonic pastors do not grow churches, are poor chaplains - even poor hospice chaplains, and they pretty much destroy wherever they root … and they’re more like crabgrass or bamboo that, once established, is almost impossible to eradicate.

GOD’s Rules  vs  Man Rules

The other day my son asked me a question to which I gave a quick answer but then his reply stopped me and we had small conversation about it. His question was is having a drink of alcohol or buying lottery ticker a sin. My quick answer was No! However, his response made me and his mother have to talk with him awhile. His response was “then why do people in our family preach that it is?”

 We tried to explain that some (older) people use religion instead of the bible to guide them. We both told him that anything we mean ANYTHING in excess is bad and most things in excess are a sin, but everything in moderation. We did some bible searches and showed him in the word where GOD said what was right and wrong.

Now doubt some of you legalistic 18th century old time Pentecostal Pharisees have problems with a Christian doing some things. How do I know? Well, it is because Churches of late has been chopped down by the likes of you to these things, namely:

1. Not getting on the Internet. (You tell people.. all there is on there is porn)

2. Not going to PG13 or R-rated movies. (Unless it is the PASSION then all rules get thrown out.)

3. Not smoking cigarettes, a cigar, or a pipe (there goes C. S. Lewis and Charles Spurgeon)

4. Not listening to pop / rock music.

5. Not watching CNN or MSNBC (this doesn’t send you to hell, just makes you dumb as hell)

6. Not drinking alcohol.

7. Not buying a lottery ticket.

8. Jesus turned water into Wine but it was the kind you could not get drunk on.

Yep, somehow the greatest story ever told has been reduced to some goofy self-righteous denomination’s list of do’s and don’ts. The funny thing is that the majority of Christian ministers who are fierce about not drinking are not so vociferous about the tons of food they eat, or the gossip they spread, or the unforgiveness they harbor, or the many hours they spend online viewing porn.

I was watching Christian TV the other day as this chunky, sweaty minister who was at least 150lbs overweight (at least!) lectured his flock/the nation on the “demonic evils” of enjoying a Bud Light. I’m sitting back thinking, “let me get this right, Jabba . . . Jesus gets perturbed when I have a 12oz bottle of beer, and he’s completely cool with you eating chicken by the bucket, hamburger by the pound and pizza by the foot?” How convenient, Pastor Man Breasts. And correct me if I’m wrong, Reverend Cletus Klump, but I believe the glutton and the drunkard are both condemned in Scripture. Google it and get back to me.

Can a Christian be a liberal? Short answer: no. There is no way a Christian can buy into neo-liberal ideology and be faithful to the bigger-than-Dallas teachings of the scripture and expect to continue enjoying his hard-won religious liberties.

For the "Christian" to lean politically to the left means that he must blow off huge chunks of the Bible and replace the scripture with the make-believe notions of postmodernism's malleable "Christ." Only after torturing the scripture can the Christian then fit liberalism into his supposed relationship with God.

For the Christian who believes that unfeigned faith in Christ should correspond with Jesus' high view of scripture, it is impossible to believe in God and be an adherent to postmodern liberalism.

Liberalism has been hijacked by bizarre special-interest thugs who defy the Word of God and believe that the Bible has no place in public life (except maybe in a museum where people can look at it from time to time).

The Christian skipping around the maypole wearing his rose-colored glasses who has a bent to the liberal left needs to understand something: if it were left up to the modern, secularized liberal establishment, he would be more restricted than Bill when Hillary's in town. If the Christophobic thugs had it their way, Christians would be relegated to a marginalized spiritual ghetto on the sidelines of life.

For the naive Christian voter who thinks he can toss a ballot in the Nuevo liberal direction, please know that a vote toward the secular left could leave you bereft of sacred liberties. Thanks to the aggressive and ludicrous liberal lug nuts' anti-Christian agenda, your vote for a liberal Christian is a vote for:

1. Christianity to be scrubbed from government and whatever turf the government owns. All you Alex Jones types ... your 9/11 building 7 conspiracy theories have come to an end. No longer can you call radio shows and yap, "9/11 was an inside job! What about building 7 ... blah blah blah." The Washington Times reports that scientists with the National Institute of Standards and Technology have completed their three year investigation of the building's collapse, and they say the science behind their findings is "incredibly conclusive."

The investigation concluded that the collapse of building 7 "was actually the first time in the world a fire caused the total failure of a skyscraper." A giant computer model of the collapse shows the failure of the internal column of the building is what brought the building down. Extreme heat caused some of the steel beams to lose strength throughout the entire structure; however it was the collapse of the 13th floor that weakened the critical support column. Investigators also found that another collapse nearby had broken the city's water main, which left the bottom of the building without water for the sprinkler system.

None of this matters, though, to the "9/11 was an inside job" whack jobs. There are people who believe that the Earth is flat. There are people who earnestly believe that the Earth is perfectly stationary in the middle of the universe. And there will be people who will take that eternal celestial dirt nap quite sure that 9/11 was an inside job. Come on now ... these people make life interesting.

AN UPDATE ON THE WHALE

One of the strangest story's this wee has been of Colin the whale. Colin is a humpback whale in Sydney, Australia who lost his mom and adopted a yacht as his mother. He tried unsuccessfully to suckle the boat for food.

They've tried unsuccessfully to lead the whale back to open waters. The New South Wales Parks and Wildlife Service considered using a sling to tow Colin out into deeper waters. But now we are hearing exactly what we had hoped to avoid ... officials have decided that the only option is to kill the whale.

Naturally this sparked outrage in Australia. A rescue group tried to design a feeding apparatus to provide milk to the calf. But plans were underway to euthanize the abandoned baby whale ... but then officials went out at night and couldn't find him in the dark waters. Marine researchers do not believe that Colin will survive the night.

Metaphor alert: Baby whale = The American people. Boat = government. Try to lead us into open waters and we're coming right back ... looking for the nipple.

Texas executes illegal immigrant

HUNTSVILLE — An illegal immigrant from Honduras who claimed his treaty rights were violated when he was arrested for a robbery-murder near Dallas was executed Thursday evening.

"God forgive them, receive my spirit," Heliberto Chi said in English. In Spanish, he told a friend watching through a window that he loved him and appreciated his hard work. He appeared to be whispering a prayer in Spanish with a tear at the corner of his right eye as the lethal drugs began to take effect.

One of Chi's cousins, who was among the witnesses, sobbed uncontrollably. Two sons of his victims watched through another window and Chi glanced at them briefly but didn't appear to acknowledge them.

Chi was pronounced dead nine minutes later at 6:25 p.m. CDT.

Lawyers for Chi had claimed in appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court that he should have been told he could get legal assistance from the Honduran consulate when he was arrested in California and extradited to Texas to face charges for killing his former boss, Armand Paliotta, at a men's clothing store during a robbery 7 1/2 years ago. Chi had once worked for Paliotta as a tailor at the store in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth.

The Supreme Court, ruling about 2 1/2 hours before his scheduled execution time, rejected his appeal without dissent.

The arguments in his case, focusing on rights of foreigners under international treaty, were similar to those used unsuccessfully Tuesday by lawyers for condemned Texas prisoner Jose Medellin. In that case, the Supreme Court, with four of the nine justices dissenting, rejected his appeal and the Mexican-born Medellin was executed for participating in the gruesome gang rape and murders of two teenage Houston girls 15 years ago.

Unlike Medellin, Chi was not among some 50 death row inmates around the country, all Mexican born, who the International Court of Justice said should have new hearings in U.S. courts to determine whether the 1963 Vienna Convention treaty was violated during their arrests. Mexico had sued in the court on behalf of its citizens condemned in the U.S.

President Bush asked states to review those cases and legislation to implement the process was introduced recently in Congress, but the Supreme Court ruled earlier this year neither the president nor the international court could force Texas to wait.

Chi's attorneys argued that unlike the Vienna Convention obligations with Mexico, the 1927 U.S. Bilateral Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Consular Rights with Honduras was specifically between the U.S. and Honduras and was self-executing, meaning it didn't require legislation to have effect. They said the treaty also conferred individual rights and incorporated international law into enforceable domestic law.

"There can be little doubt that this issue — the proper construction of treaty provisions — is sufficiently meritorious to warrant review," Chi's lawyers said in their Supreme Court request for a reprieve.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the state's highest criminal court, late Wednesday rejected a similar appeal.

The freedom is being squished in the city of Los Angeles, L A wants to use the power of government to force private businesses to cater to illegal aliens. Here's what's happening, the City Council committee voted unanimously to force large home-improvement stores to set aside space for day laborers. The plan must now be passed by the full council, but if it comes into effect it means that companies like Home Depot or Lowes or any private home-improvement store 100,000 square feet or larger must create a space for day laborers who are seeking employment. - - - Simple equation: Day laborers = illegal aliens.

 

  These shelters are required to be easily accessible and provide drinking water, bathrooms, tables with seating and trash facilities ... all paid for by the private businesses. Why not require the businesses to serve them breakfast burritos and coffee? The stores will also be required to develop a security plan and consult with the LA Police Department on how to protect these workers. Home Depot has asked that an amendment be added that would make the city responsible for operating the shelters. But as of right now, there is no such amendment.

  

    Just one of the problems from this asinine ordinance would be to increase the businesses exposure to legal actions should these illegal aliens (day laborers) get injured while loitering on company property waiting for a job.

Now listen to this, Bethany Leal with the Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Worker Organizing Network says that this is an example of "immigration integration." She says, "By having public and private entities work together to create facilities used primarily by immigrants, individual residents, as well as the whole city, benefit."

 

   What word is missing from this? C'mon ... you can say it ... illegal. These facilities aren't just for day laborers, they are for illegal immigrants.  I'm not just BSing you . Look at the facts. There are over a million illegal immigrants in Los Angeles. Illegal aliens represent more than one quarter of all workers in the production, construction and service industries. In other words, there are a lot of them and there is a larger percentage of them working as day laborers ... how obvious could our government get?

  The news have lifted up Sen Obama to almost God like status. Now I have said this before but not everyone has listened to me. However, this afternoon I saw something that showed my point better then I ever could have. It was written by Gerard Baker for the London times. I will grant you he is taking lightly the point but he does say what the others have been hinting at for a long long time.

And the Persians, who saw all this and were greatly fearful, longed to speak with the Child and saw that the Child was the bringer of peace. At the mention of his name they quickly laid aside their intrigues and beat their uranium swords into civil nuclear energy ploughshares.

From there the Child went up to the city of Jerusalem, and entered through the gate seated on an ass. The crowds of network anchors who had followed him from afar cheered “Hosanna” and waved great palm fronds and strewed them at his feet."

  SORRY for the delay, We have been moving for the past two weeks. We have moved from a nice apt for the "Money Pit". Now we are really having fun. haha

 Now on to catch up with what is going on around here. The past couple of days while I was moving the Sen. Obama has gone from a

Presidential canadate to the next 2ed coming or Messiah. Now he has not had to call himself that the wonderful media has done that for him. In the past couple of days two very dangerous things have happened.

 

1. Sen. Obama was at a meeting and Jessie Jackson jr introduced him and during the introduction Mr. Jackson said “ Sen. Obama has done so much to help his people that we need to change the BIBLE and add him to last couple of chapters”.  Now the last time I read the BIBLE the last few chapters are written about a man a person that would rise out of nowhere and be very popular and come into power. This person would go against GOD himself and bring into play the end of the world……….

1.  TD Jakes, Dallas based megachurch pastor and televangelist, wrote in a column for CNN earlier this month that as he listened to Barack wax eloquently during his victory speech he got “goose bumps.” This comment by Jakes gave me a chill down my spin and I am not talking about the good ones. I am talking about the ones where the devil pops out and you are suprised. As a Christian let alone a man of God that preaches the gospel he should be able to know when he hears Satan speak. Then again the Word of God does say that “even the chosen ones could be swayed”.  Well again the BIBLE bears forth the truth……..

Freedom of Speech.

 

 Now for the past couple of year this country has gone thru a few public tirades about the Right of Freedom of Speech. However, with the growing ignorance of those being allowed to graduate from those indoctrinate buildings some call Public schools, we need to clarify this issue up. The Bill of Rights state: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. It is so Simple and to the point. The Freedom of Speech is the template for which the Forefathers created the Rights, an indispensable condition of nearly every other freedom is based upon.

 

 If it is so direct and simple then why are so many people confused? The reason comes into play when people make their statements like the Dixie Chicks and then those who hear respond in an unfriendly manor. The Bill of Rights that our Forefathers gave us allows for us to speak our mind freely and without any fear of recourse. This Right however does not state that everyone that hears our speech has to like nor does it say that others have to agree with it. In the Dixie Chicks case they felt that this freedom gave them the Right to speak how the felt about the current president and everyone who heard them would still accept and like them as they did before they made those statements, WRONG !

 

 We are given this right to speak our mind, other are just as deservedly so given the right to not agree and even HATE us for those statements. Then they are allowed under the same Right that you used to speak they are allowed to speak what they feel about you and what you said. Then in the case of some celebrities we are also allowed to not buy their CD or go to their movie and that is our RIGHT. So the next time someone says something stupid and then follows it with “I can say that cause of Freedom of speech”. Your reply should be “Yes you do have that Right, and I have the Right to think and say that you’re an IDIOT!

Why do Christians kill their wounded….

I do not think we "kill" them. I used to think that way, but in the cases that I know of with clarity,  the men and women of God were not repentant or willing to submit to the counsel.

Let's look at the ones that I know of.

Roberts Liardon, gave himself a 3 month sabbatical, used counsel that was not even in the country, tried to get married to dispel the fact that he was gay and had gotten caught.

Never was able to return to the full ministry that he had once had.

Jimmy Swaggart, Lust or whatever with a prostitute, submitted the first time to 6 month sabbatical, then when he was caught again, refused to step down. Now you find him angry with the AG and charismatic’s on various channels, but none of the Christian ones.

Tammy Baker, never acknowledged any responsibility in the fraud that she and her husband participated in. She did peddle stuff with the guy who went to jail for fraud, Kevin with Natural Cures. She has since died of cancer; no we are not saying that was

God’s doing God is never the cause of evil. However, our own works makes our bodies

Produce some bad chemicals and over time take their toll on us.

Jim Baker, did take responsibility while in prison and was restored, but keeps low key. He is working in the ministry with his son, who had for a time rebelled against God because of his parents, doing good works for street people.

I think if people are truly repentant then the church is accepting, but in far too many cases they are not. They are mad they got caught. That is not repentance.

As for the word Fell, no, that is not the word for Swaggart or the others. They were not sins of opportunity, but they sought out the women, men, drugs, etc. They kept pursuing them and then lied to their family, friends, and church. Some lied in the beginning about it, so they were not trying to get repentance they wanted a get out jail free card. Those that do come before God and do repent and then make it right with those that they wronged I think the church, that is you and I, owe them our forgiveness and our help to get them back. They do not need for us to help knock them down. The world does that enough !

US  vs. Victhem

This week as with most weeks we heard someone, this week it was a Presidential candidate, doing more damage to the people of this country. Instead of getting in front of the camera and telling everyone that the statements of the Rev. Wright were wrong, divisive and with out any merit. He said he understood where the anger was coming from and recognized that this what America feels, that is just pure Barbara Streisand !

We need someone in this country to stand up and say everyone; every group has been attacked, taken advantage of, insulted, made fun of and even harassed. So now that we understand this we are no longer going to play the victim we are going to understand WE are Americans and are going to find the answers to our problems together. We have had 40 years Civil Right laws, 40 years of equal employment laws. Do people still hire based on race, YES ALL colors do. I understand if I do not get a job it may or may not be because I am a white male and this company has to fill their quota of black, women or other minorities. That does not make me a victim it makes go to another place and apply there. You want to be taken serious then take responsibility for your actions. Do not blame slavery that happened over 100 years ago or blame it on the white man stealing your land for beads. No one owned YOU and no one stole your land.

  Everyone gets discriminated against that does not make you a victim that makes you human as well as it makes the ones that made that decision human. It is NOT us against them it is US period. We are the people that live in this great God given country. Not start acting like it.

                                                                                  Daily Thought

John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. 

Paraphrased – The next verse says, He didn’t come into the world to CONDEMN the world, but that the world through Him may be saved.

I deal with people every day that have sinned to the max.  There is probably nothing left under the sun that they haven’t done, and many times.  Yet when they come to prison, they stop long enough, get off the drugs or booze, and with more clear headed thinking, realize there is a better way.  Or at least they hear there is a better way and they will try anything, (thus their past).  But in that past, they never found peace, joy, love, patience, kindness, long suffering, etc……

They found hate, suffering, turmoil, betrayal, lust, were used up, beat up, and left to the devil to do with whatever he wanted.

I ask these women, you have asked Jesus for forgiveness of your sins?  Yes. 

But it is hard for them to believe that they are “WORTHY” to be forgiven.  That Jesus loved them so much that He died for them.

But that is what happened.  I find no place in the Bible where my name, their name or your name is excluded.  He said for ALL.

Why is that hard for us to accept?  Because we know ourselves?  And we don’t think HE does?  That’s where the lies from the devil start.  The input of thoughts that demean ourselves, debase us come into our mind and we accept them.  We think, well Jesus may forgive that sin, but He won’t forgive this one.  That is why we become so critical and judgmental on others.  We are hard on ourselves.  So we take that same ruler and apply it to everyone else.

This isn’t soft soap teaching.  This is the Bible.  We don’t give up and quit and stop behavior to accept Christ.  We accept Christ into our hearts, make him Lord of our lives and then through our daily readying and praying and communicating with Him, the old ways begin to drop off, melt away.  The desires from the old life gets less and less.  We develop new habits, new thoughts, new desires.  Because we learn to LOVE HIM.  It isn’t an overnight relationship.   It may be the first time sensation, revelation, excitement, or not.  But the minute we believe he died for our sins on the Cross and take him into ours, that relationship begins.  At least with HIM.  What we do with it is up to us.

We can put it aside and continue what we were doing.  But we don’t enjoy it.  We try to override our thoughts, that forgiving spirit He now has applied to us.  And we can reject Him, again

Do what you know you should do.  Just ask Him to help you keep this relationship going.  You aren’t perfect.  He knows that.  But you can learn to desire to do His will.  You see the blessings He’s given you.  You know you’re on the right road.  The Bible says, “don’t look to the right or left, but keep your eyes on Him”.

Do that and begin that relationship with Jesus.  It will be the best one you ever had.

Government Schools

  As a father of 2 boys I have gone thru and am still trying to get one child past the age of 18 and on to making a good life and family of their own. In doing this one must put their child thru an un-holy and tortured set of years know as school. Now don’t get me wrong I think that one should learn and be taught to know how to add, subtract, Read and write correctly, and no I don’t think any answer is an ok answer to spare the “feelings” of the child. However, I did run across a letter to the editor the other day of a national newspaper stated the following..   "As a new substitute teacher, I just received a letter from Fulton County schools warning me not to correct the Grammar of the children.” Now the letter went on to state that the kids needed to be able to express themselves in a manner that was fitting to their heritage. What this said to me was that this teacher was told not correct the grammar of kids that were not of same race as her because someone might think that the teacher would only correct the grammar of a black student and not a white student.

   I want to be the first or second to tell you that a helpdesk agent I hear some of these kids talk today when they try to reach the helpdesk asking for assistance. Most of them sound like this…. “Dog you know there ain't no rightouse boys (employers) out dere (there) who’d give da good job to a brother dat lays it on the line (speaks) like me….” The point of the letter was to say that some schools are telling our teachers that they can not correct the grammar of a black student if they are a white teacher without insulting the child’s culture, heritage, tattoos, proficiency on the field of sports and hairstyle. Now when did we go from learning the 4 R’s to worrying about the child’s sports play or their way of speaking?

   Now I did a little research and found out that what we know as "ebonics" or the language style that is favored among many blacks, actually came from around 1619, during the slave trade, ships collected slaves not just from one nation but from many nations. Although they were mostly Africans certain areas spoke different languages, Some Africans spoke Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa. Then ship workers and the slaves had to be able to understand each other. There was a kind part African and English combo. So since it really isn't a black thing, but an English thing, then why is there a problem in trying to correct it? We're talking about education here and success in later life for these kids. Isn't that what schools are supposed to address?

    Then I also heard where some teachers at a school in Seattle have banned the use of Legos in class by children. The reason they gave as it turns out was that the children had developed a Lego town and were learning about capitalism and how to make money and get people to pay for their srvices. The teachers couldn't have this, so they banned the Legos. Was the reason because they were harmful to the kids, no but because they wanted the students to learn that owning private property was evil. They also said that Lego town had become a class-based, capitalist society and they (the teachers) believed that was unjust and oppressive.

Now, is this what you expect from your friendly neighborhood government school? This does show you that every facet of education is being infected with socialist liberals. So here is just an example of the nonsense that the kids who attend the Hilltop Children's Center in Seattle are being programmed with:

• The teachers decided that the children's assumptions about owning private property "mirrored those of a class-based, capitalist society, a society that we teachers believe to be unjust and oppressive." That's right, they actually said this.

• After these kids displayed such horrifying tendencies with their Lego town, the teachers decreed that "All structures are public structures" and "all structures will be standard sizes." Sound familiar? Somewhere Karl Marx is smiling.

• The teachers said that in banning the Legos, "our intention was to promote a contrasting set of values: collectivity, collaboration, resource-sharing, and full democratic participation." If that doesn't send shivers down your spine, I don't know what would.

So there you have it...Socialism 101 being taught to young children who don't know better. But they do deserve points for their sudden burst of entrepreneurship with their Lego town. It's too bad it was accidentally demolished. Perhaps the teachers took it over through eminent domain and are building a communist re-education center.

 

 Remember they get to teach your kids anything while your not there !!!!

Less Freedom means Less prayer

 

    The other day I heard a talk radio show host the other day state that he believes that over the past 30 years, and that it escalates every decade, we Americans are losing more and more of our Freedoms. Now I am not here today to dispute or support that statement as a whole but I began at that point to look at Christians over the past 30 – 40 years, yes I am that old that I can look that far back so hush. What I have found is that for the past few decades or so we Christians have lost our “NEED” to pray. The more we as a Nation become dependent upon State run assistances or new inventions that begin to “help” us more and more the less we feel the need or the desire to pray, I also have become lethargic in my praying in the past few years.

 

    Our fore fathers had need of everything from their health to the weather to help their crop to the very daily food. They needed God to be their very source of life. If you take the time to read any of the American writings from our own constitution to the Bill of Rights or any of the other many writings you can read words such as “retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence” not from God but from any form of tyranny or oppression with God’s help and total dependence upon God and his guidance. However we as a people seem to feel it is more incumbent upon our current government rather than our very own creator to bless and support us. How have we become a nation of the deserving from a nation of the independent?

 

   We wonder why and how “God could let things happen” such as 9-11 or Pear Harbor? In my humble opinion it may not be that God “lets” these things happen as much as we allow them to happen. Here is my reasoning. Our creator has given us the power and the authority over all we see. However, we giving up that power to a group of men and women who may or may not be as in touch with our heavenly farther as our fore Fathers take some of our freedoms in exchange for “their” protection. They then become our authority figure and our deity. Which at that point we replace God with our president then God no longer has any authority to prevent the things which with prayer and dependence upon him he would impede events that unfold in our lives. The more letters we write to congress means the less we will call for prayer in our lives. Because then we have moved the ultimate power source in our being from the heavens to Washington.

 

   What will it take for us as a person and us as a nation to revert back to the dependence upon God?
